OMG, it has been 5 days since I last wrote. I hope this doesn't turn into another diary I WAS excited to get. I have about 8 that have no more than 5 pages used. Some of them with dates once a month. This is way better than a diary. I get feedback AND my mom reads it. Way cooler.

In the last five days....
I have seen a lot of my dear friend, Daniella, whom I call Danie most of the time. We have run errands together or gone to her sisters house to help her mom watch the young ones in the family. I got to help Danies mom make plates of food for the soldiers. Danies husband is in the army and had to stay on base for a week for something that I should remember but don't. We made the most delicious smelling pork chops ever, mashed potatoes and Spanish rice. I felt so helpful. It was a nice change from staying home. On the 13th I went to the hospital in the morning. Not a good day. Apparently a single tamale can cause major indigestion for a pregnant lady. It turned into dehydration and that triggered contractions. I'm only 26 weeks so it was kind of scary. My husband made it so much easier. You know when everything is just going wrong and your brain feels incapable and you just need someone to lean on? I don't think I have ever found anyone to lean on better than Andrew. He was so there, He has such a soft spot for taking care of me. Even though I was not quite an invalid he was awesome. Poor man hardly slept. I think I want to make a movement to require all hospitals to provide comfortable accommodations to the husbands or Significant Others of the patients. I hate that he was so wonderful and he had to sleep on the most uncomfortable pullout couch I have ever seen. Poor man woke up with knots in muscles he did not know he had. He also remembered to come home and feed te cat. The beef broth I was allowed to eat was the most delicious tasting broth I have ever tasted. I wanted the recipe so I asked. LOL the nurse said she was curious also because I asked for 2 more bowls. She told me it was just bouillon cubes in water, I couldn't believe it. Maybe I really was starving! I feel I got quality healthcare. My nurses were so nice, and I enjoyed their company. They did not make me feel stupid for going to the hospital for indigestion. We joked and laughed. I was able to provide practice to a lady maybe 3 years older than I. She is studying to be an ultrasound technician and was excited to do thorough work on twins. She was so awesome. I found out most of my intestines are now lodged up under my ribs. I had to stay over night and I really don't know how I will be able to stay there for like 3 days after delivery. The only complaint I have is having to lay there with only bathroom breaks. FOR HOURS. My RLS was so bad. I talked to the nurses about it but they said I had to stay hooked up to the fetal monitors and IVs. Hubby was VERY good about massaging them my legs, even in the middle of the night. He brought me warm socks and snuck me crackers from the vending machine in the middle of the night when I got hungry and the cafeteria was closed.

Today I finished a craft project. That is our family name, I'm going to have Andrew hang it above our front door when he gets home today.

I love doing crafts like these. I first decided to make this about 3 months ago. I asked Andrew to take me to Hobby Lobby for some craft stuff, I said I didn't know what I was going to make. He loved the idea of me making this. We share a love for neutral colors, so I picked black and gray. One day I want a wall color that compliments the black frames and artwork I love.

Well I am stuck on what to write, now. I think I am going to nap...
